so my Baby Michael painting is finished! Lesson learnt: fros are NOT easy to paint. hahah though the awesome new brush options in CS6 extended did help a lot. Hope you guys like it!

so my recess week will be over in 3 days and I haven’t finished a single personal painting. Highly disappointed in myself :(

Working on this right now.

Too many paintings in my head; too little time to do all of them. I cope with this problem by starting on many paintings and not finishing any of them.

Anyway, it’s Tom Felton’s birthday! So yes there is a reason for this.

about one hour of work, not including touchups. A quick one :)

I have an essay to write so yea. first time painting for fun in AGES.

My computer also crashed a few weeks ago, and I lost many very precious .psd files as a result. ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR FILES. dont be stupid like me.

Also how awesome is the photoshop CS6 extend? Very.

practicing details. The eye belongs to Dexter (Michael C. Hall), of course. Does this qualify as a portrait? I think it does. WIP gif up soon :)

Paloma Faith is having a fan art contest and the winner gets to meet her. I was super excited because I love her and her music so much, only to find out that I’m in the wrong continent to be taking part :(

Well I did it anyway. Took about 4 hours altogether. Oh how I love painting flaming curly hair.

For some reason, I like the greyscale one better though..

Done! Painting environments is suddenly more fun than I remember. Hopefully this means I’m getting slightly better at it? Yay to more Harry Potter fanart! Made a WIP gif out of the process, which I shall be posting next.
